Garage Heaters

Keep your garage comfortable year round with a garage heater installed by Jamison Furnace. Installing a garage heater allows you to keep your garage just above freezing or at comfortable temperatures year round, whichever your preference, for letting your car thaw, keeping fluids stored in the garage from freezing, and also aides in keeping the room above the garage warmer by heat conduction, when applicable. (Note, however, that all shared ceilings and walls of the living spaces with an attached garage should be air sealed to prevent air infiltration of harmful contaminants and emissions.)

Depending on the dimensions and intended use of the garage, one of either of the two common styles of garage heater, a “Forced Air” heater (like a small furnace without ducting attached) or a “Radiant Tube” heater (the heaters usually found in the stands at ice rinks), will be much better suited to efficiently heat the garage. Our experienced consultants will educate you on the pros and cons of each type of system to ensure you make an informed choice of the heater style which will best serve your needs.
